Ellie Goulding's Near-death Experience

Ellie Goulding narrowly escaped death after a recent stop by to Norway following vehicle she was travelling in plunged in a freezing lake, almost trapping her underwater.

The British pop Scream it out star was a student in Europe latest research by (Jan16) if the all-terrain vehicle she was being transported in suffered a huge technical trouble in the midst of extreme climate conditions.

Photographer Conor McDonnell, that has been documenting the singer's shows traveling, first shared the scary tale on Instagram.com on Monday (25Jan16), when he posted a breeze of their submerged vehicle during a frozen lake - and revealed they'd have died when they hadn't climbed from the sunroof.

"This photo originates from when we were in Norway a month ago," Conor explained. "That moment when you find yourself in -25 (degrees) during nowhere in Norway inside the pitch black as well as your belt wagon crashes over the ice in the midst of a lake and you've got to emergency evacuate over the roof.

"'Oh s**t we're in' was my first though (thought). Second ended up being take photos. We were inside front cabin. That is just about under water with this photo. A few minutes later that it was all completely gone beneath the water and ice once and for all."

Ellie later shared the identical image on the Instagram page, and captioned it, "Throwback to a month ago when myself and @conormcdphoto nearly wound up in a lake in -30... Note to self don't drive a BV206 more than a frozen lake".

The Army singer hasn't enable the incident put her off travelling - she actually is back on the streets after beginning her Delirium World Tour in Hamburg, Germany the other day (21Jan16).
